Crepes are very thin pancakes, stuffed with sweet or savory fillings, or served plain with butter and cinnamon.
In Rome Italy I had crepes filled with spinach, button mushrooms, and romano cheese and a cream sauce over the top, Delish!!
Start with a hot buttered pan taken off the heat and swirl batter around in pan till it covers bottom of pan and is very thin. Place back on the heat and brown on bottom then flip crepe on other side. Brown till done and remove. Repeat with remaining batter!
Easy and delicious! I like mine with apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon!
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp butter melted ( for browning in fry pan)
(For sweet crepes add 1tsp sugar and
optional 1 tbs Grand Marnier)
